Embroidery Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor embroidery machines (single & multi-head)
• Set up machines with correct threads, needles, hoops, and backing materials
• Load embroidery files and ensure correct placement on garments/products
• Conduct test runs to check design accuracy before bulk production
• Inspect finished products for quality, thread breakage, alignment, and finishing
• Perform routine machine maintenance (cleaning, oiling, needle changes)
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with the design team for file adjustments when required
• Maintain daily production records and report to the supervisor
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work area
• Preferred Skills & Knowledge:Experience in embroidery file making / digitizing software
• Understanding of stitch types, density, and fabric compatibility
• Knowledge of different threads, backing materials, colours, needles, and stabilizers
• Ability to read and interpret design mock-ups
• Qualifications:Minimum 6-8 experience in embroidery machine operation
• High school/diploma/ITI in textiles, fashion, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of embroidery software (added advantage)
• Soft Skills:Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work under deadlines
• Team player with good communication
• Problem-solving attitude
