Role Objective:

To drive sales, visibility, and profitability of the company's products on leading e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Jiomart, and other online marketplaces. The role involves strategic planning, business development, assortment management, pricing, and promotional activities to achieve online sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. E-commerce Sales & Business Management


• Manage end-to-end business operations on key e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).


• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for e-commerce channels.


• Plan and execute growth strategies to increase revenue share from online platforms.


• Track daily sales performance, stock levels, and order fulfilment rates.

  1. Platform Relationship Management


• Act as the single point of contact for account managers of marketplaces.


• Negotiate terms, discounts, and promotional visibility with platform category teams.


• Ensure compliance with platform policies and maintain strong brand partnerships.

  1. Product Listing & Content Management


• Ensure all SKUs are live with optimized listings, images, keywords, and descriptions.


• Coordinate with marketing and design teams for improved product visibility and SEO ranking.


• Monitor customer reviews, ratings, and ensure high content accuracy and brand consistency.

  1. Promotions & Campaign Planning


• Plan and execute online campaigns during key events like Big Billion Days, Great Indian Festival, etc.


• Work closely with marketing for digital campaigns, sponsored ads, and brand stores.


• Analyse ROI of promotional spends and optimize for best performance.

  1. Inventory, Pricing & Supply Chain Coordination


• Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams for smooth order processing and stock availability.


• Monitor pricing parity across platforms to maintain brand positioning.


• Forecast demand based on trends and prevent stock-outs or overstocking.

  1. Analytics & Reporting


• Track category performance, competitor benchmarking, and consumer behavior insights.


• Prepare dashboards and MIS reports on sales, margins, and growth metrics.


• Recommend action plans based on data analytics and market trends.

Key Skills Required:


• Strong understanding of FMCG sales dynamics and e-commerce marketplace models.


• Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, etc.


• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, and sales dashboards.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.


• Ability to plan campaigns, manage P&L, and handle multiple platforms simultaneously.

Qualification & Experience:


• MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales, or E-commerce.


• 5–8 years of experience in Ecommerce Business


• Experience with leading FMCG brands
