Job Description:

Position: - Mechanical Design Draftsman

Location Andheri –Mumbai

Job responsibilities: -

1) Draft project specific Basic GA and detail engineering drawings.

2) Preparation of BOQs for correctness as per requirements from 3D / 2D piping layouts.

3) Reading and understanding project specific drawings such as P&I diagrams, piping drawings,

equipment GA drawings, etc.

4) Conversant with equipment GA drawings such as pumps, blowers, instruments, etc. to know the

details of mounting and nozzle orientations.

5) Cable tray routing and it's detailing.

6) Maintain standard data bank and keep updating the data as per market / design standards.

7) Execute and ensure compliance to all processes and documentation conforming to internal and

external audit and project requirements.

8) Execute swift and error free drawings and BOQ transfer for project / purchase requirements and

procurement.

9) Hands on experience on BOQ preparations, piping isometrics and equipment GA drawings.

Peoples Management: -

1) Follow department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance of suppliers and input

& output data management.

2) Ensure strong communication with the civil and project teams to get on time deliveries.

3) Follow and function in accordance with ISO and system procedures / requirements.

Skills:-

1) Highly organized and motivated.

2) Knowledge of 3D software will be an added advantage.

3) Knowledge of standard codes such as ASME section VII Div1, IS codes, ASTM, piping standards,

etc.
