We are looking for a passionate and experienced Atlassian Technical Consultant to join our growing team in Bangalore.

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Atlassian Technical Consultant with a proven track record of implementing, customizing, and managing Atlassian solutions for a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian products, combined with strong client-facing and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, designing scalable solutions, and providing expert guidance on Atlassian best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Consulting & Solution Design:
  Engage with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into functional requirements for the Atlassian stack. Design and architect robust, scalable solutions using Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and other Atlassian products.
• Implementation & Customization:
  Lead the implementation and configuration of Atlassian tools. Develop complex workflows, custom fields, screen schemes, and permission schemes to meet specific business processes.
• Migration & Upgrades:
  Plan and execute migrations from server/Data Center to Atlassian Cloud, as well as perform version upgrades and consolidations of Atlassian instances.
• Integration & Automation:
  Integrate Atlassian products with other third-party tools (e.g., CI/CD, monitoring, CRM) using APIs and marketplace apps. Develop custom scripts (Groovy, Python) to automate processes and extend product functionality.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
  Provide expert-level support to clients, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure system stability and performance.
• Training & Mentoring:
  Conduct training sessions and workshops for client teams to drive user adoption and ensure they are leveraging the Atlassian tools effectively. Mentor junior team members.
• Best Practices:
  Stay current with the latest Atlassian features, plugins, and industry best practices, and serve as a subject matter expert for both clients and internal teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience
  as an Atlassian administrator, consultant, or developer.
• In-depth knowledge and proven experience with
  Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
  (Server, Data Center, and Cloud).
• Strong experience in creating and managing complex Jira workflows, custom schemes, and configurations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as
  Groovy (for ScriptRunner) or Python
  .
• Experience with Atlassian Marketplace apps (e.g., ScriptRunner, eazyBI, Structure, Advanced Roadmaps).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP)
  certifications (e.g., ACP-100, ACP-120, ACP-400).
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud migrations.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket, Bamboo, and other developer tools in the Atlassian ecosystem.
• Knowledge of database administration (SQL) and Linux/Windows server environments.
• Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment
