About the Role

Sporthood Football Academy is on a mission to raise the next generation of Indian footballers through structured, high-quality training. As the
Head Football Coach
in Hyderabad, you will be the face of this vision — leading on-ground player development, mentoring a team of coaches, and driving a culture of excellence, discipline, and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage football coaching operations across multiple centres in Hyderabad
  • Implement Sporthood's
    age- and skill-based curriculum
    effectively for grassroots (U6–U18) players
  • Train, mentor and manage assistant coaches; ensure coaching quality and session delivery is top-notch
  • Conduct periodic player assessments and evaluations
  • Plan and oversee internal matchdays, tournaments, and competitive fixtures
  • Act as the main point of contact for parents and ensure high player & parent satisfaction
  • Ensure discipline, safety, and professionalism across all sessions
  • Report to central coaching leadership on player progress and centre performance

Requirements

  • AFC C License (minimum); B License preferred
  • 3–5 years of youth coaching experience, preferably in an academy environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for grassroots player development
  • Fluency in English and Hindi/Telugu is a plus
  • Willingness to travel across centres in Hyderabad
