Payroll Executive

Role & responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for assigned countries/clients accurately and on time.
- Validate salary calculations, deductions, and statutory contributions (e.g., CPF, MPF, EPF, etc., as applicable).
- Manage employee reimbursements, bonuses, and other variable components.
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records and employee master data.
- Prepare and review payroll reports for management and client submission.
- Ensure compliance with local tax and employment regulations.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (tax, HR, finance) for payroll-related queries.
- Support year-end payroll activities and statutory filings (e.g., IR8A, P60, 1099, etc.).
Continuously improve payroll processes and contribute to system enhancements.
Timely chasing clients for settlement of Accounts Receivables.
Preferred candidate profile
Candidates with prior experience handling international payroll or multi-country payroll will be given preference, especially those with exposure to:
- APAC Payroll (Singapore, Hong Kong, China, India, etc.)
- UK Payroll
- US Payroll
- Global or Regional Payroll Operations
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant payroll experience, preferably in a professional services or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of statutory payroll compliance and labor regulations.
- Hands-on experience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Strong communication and coordination skills in a multi-country, cross-functional setting.
