Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Automation Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in Industrial IoT (IIoT) and industrial automation to support data integration from PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, sensors, and controllers into Industry 4.0 platforms. The candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial protocols, PLC programming, and hardware integration, along with strong troubleshooting and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand customer needs and Access the existing industrial infrastructure like (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, sensors, etc.)

  2. Designing the architecture for integrating the data in Industry 4.0 platforms

3.Configure, install, and validate end-to-end IoT data acquisition systems.

  1. Support PLC programming modifications for data extraction and relay logic integration

  2. Select and deploy appropriate hardware (gateways, I/O modules, sensors) and software (IIoT platforms, OPC UA servers)

  3. Perform panel wiring for AI/AO/DI/DO/RTD signals and integrate data using Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, BACnet, OPC UA, SNMP, MQTT, etc.

  4. Install and configure hardware, ensuring seamless data flow to Industry 4.0 platforms.

  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, vendors, clients) to meet project deadlines.

  6. Ensure on-time project delivery and provide post-deployment troubleshooting

10.Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.

Required Skills:

  1. Hands-on experience with PLCs/HMIs/SCADA (Siemens, Delta, Omron, Mitsubishi, AB, ABB).

  2. Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, OPC UA, etc.).

  3. Experience in panel wiring for I/O modules (AI, AO, DI, DO, RTD).

  4. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  5. Excellent communication and client interaction skills6. Basic knowledge of Python and SQL will be an added advantage
