About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned
PLC Programmer
to augment our India-based team. This hybrid role entails supporting both international and domestic projects, necessitating a strong proficiency in PLC logic development, SCADA/HMI configuration, and simulation/testing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with design engineers and site teams to ensure the seamless deployment and commissioning of industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, simulate, and test PLC programs using platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, and others.
  • Configure and integrate SCADA/HMI graphics with tools like WinCC, Wonderware, and Citect.
  • Prepare comprehensive I/O lists, logic flow diagrams, control philosophy, and testing documentation.
  • Conduct offline simulation and software Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) before deployment.
  • Provide support to commissioning teams both remotely and on-site as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with international project teams and site engineers to ensure smooth project handover.
  • Maintain version control and document updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in PLC programming and SCADA/HMI development.
  • Hands-on expertise with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, and/or Mitsubishi PLCs.
  • Demonstrated experience in process or industrial automation projects.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites within India or internationally as required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in coordination with global teams.
