Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PLC Programmer, located in Tamil Nadu, India. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and maintaining Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes. Key responsibilities include developing control systems, performing troubleshooting and diagnostics, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring systems are compliant with safety and performance standards. The candidate will also work on system upgrades and error resolution as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming PLCs and working with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems
  • Skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem-solving within automation and control systems
  • Experience in installation, commissioning of instrumentation panels, and familiarity with automation systems in the packaging and textile industries
  • Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, including wiring and schematic reading
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field
  • Experience in the automation industry, especially in similar domains, is a plus
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines, maintaining safety standards, and delivering high-quality work
