Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the QS and estimation team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of cost estimates and budgets.
  • Develop and implement cost control procedures to monitor project expenses and prevent overruns.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Review and analyze contractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits and assessments to validate quantities and monitor project progress.
  • Provide cost advice and value engineering solutions to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports on project cost performance and variances.
  • Participate in project meetings and presentations to discuss cost-related issues and provide recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market rates, and regulations related to construction costs.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
