What does a successful Director, Learning, Talent Management and Performance Global Services do?

As the Director of Learning, Talent Management and Performance, you will strategically design, implement, and manage holistic programs that foster leadership, enhance functional capabilities, and drive performance excellence. Your role is pivotal in enabling our associates to reach their fullest potential while supporting the business in achieving its strategic objectives.
What you will do:
Learning & Development
- Collaborates with and advises/coaches Human Resources leaders to diagnose business needs and creates/supports targeted interventions (e.g., learning approaches, team development, calibrations…) leveraging the global philosophies outlined and related tools provided
- Build an integrated capability framework connecting learning, performance, and career development, while partnering with leaders to identify skill gaps
- Oversee digital learning platforms to ensure engaging, accessible content
- Supports HR/partner training around global learning/talent practices, as needed
Talent Management
- Responsible for the local application and facilitation of evolving talent and performance management approaches, customized to address regional needs while remaining aligned with the core guidance established at the enterprise level; includes providing leadership and expertise around the Workday and Talent Wall tools leveraged to support these practices
- Develop and implement success metric of Internal Talent Mobility, Successor Readiness and Leadership Pipeline
Performance Management
- Lead the evolution of performance frameworks and tools, fostering a culture of continuous feedback and coaching.
- Partner with HRBPs and leaders on goal setting and alignment and analyze performance data to inform talent decisions.
Your Voice Survey Action Planning
- Analyze survey results across business units, communicate outcomes, and reinforce a culture of listening and responsiveness.
Global Partnership & Alignment
- Collaborate with global HR and business leaders to align strategies across geographies, share best practices, and ensure regional execution meets global priorities.
Internal Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with leaders, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams to influence talent priorities and drive leadership engagement in programs.
Vendor Partnership
- Manage and evaluate external vendors to ensure quality, alignment, and innovation in learning and talent programs.
Metrics & ROI Strategy
- Contributes to strategic analytical reporting for Enterprise Talent & Development, and related updates with key stakeholders; provides regional scorecard to Fiserv Global Services leadership
What you will need to have:
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with deep expertise in learning, talent, and performance.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-wide programs.
- Experience in building and operationalizing capability frameworks.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with HR technologies and digital learning platforms.
- Collaborative and responsive; works well with others and forms positive relationships within region and globally – exemplifies One Fiserv
