Job Title: Senior Accountant – AP/AR (Zoho Books)

Location: Prashant Vihar, Delhi

About the Role

BNC has been mandated to recruit a smart, energetic, and mature Senior Accountant with strong expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Zoho Books. The ideal candidate will be an MBA/Graduate in Finance or Accounting with 5–6 years of experience in end-to-end accounting, financial management, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Generate, review, and send client invoices using Zoho Books.
  • Monitor receivables, track overdue accounts, and ensure timely collections.
  • Reconcile AR balances and maintain accurate ageing reports.
  • Coordinate with sales/business teams on billing disputes and payment terms.

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process vendor bills, validate documentation, and ensure timely payment cycles.
  • Maintain vendor reconciliations and AP ageing reports.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory deductions and reporting.
  • Negotiate payment terms and manage vendor relationships effectively.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Zoho Books & Automation:

  • Manage accounting operations using Zoho Books and other Zoho Finance modules.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Train and guide junior team members on Zoho tools and accounting processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: MBA (Finance) / Graduate in Commerce/Accounting.
  • Experience: 5–6 years in AP/AR and accounting operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Zoho Books (mandatory), MS Excel, and accounting standards.
  • Strong understanding of Indian accounting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver with accuracy.
  • Mature, energetic, and solution-oriented professional.
