Your day at NTT DATA
The Senior Technical Training Instructor is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for delivering technical training programs and courses to internal employees and / or external clients in the use of complex situations for multiple company products or services.

This role interacts with technical subject matters experts within the business to understand the technical course content and may also at times develop specifications for content of technical courses.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepares lesson plans from technical documentation / materials.
• Works with technical subject matter experts to ensure that course material reflects current appropriate product/services features.
• Evaluates enhancements and/or updates to the products/services to determine impact to existing education materials and networks.
• Proactively keeps abreast of products/services changes as a result of fixes, new releases, client projects and other methodology changes.
• Instructs participants in both in-person and online learning environments.
• Follows up to determine applicability of course material and learning tools.
• Configures, maintains and enhances education networks, demo and test systems.
• Conducts training sessions and delivers technical content to learners using various instructional techniques and methodologies.
• Possesses a deep understanding and expertise in the technical subject matter being taught.
• Stays updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide accurate and relevant information to learners.
• Provides opportunities for learners to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.
• Assess learner progress and understanding through various assessment methods, such as quizzes, assignments, practical exams, or project evaluations.
• Performs any other related task as required.

• Advanced knowledge of eLearning design methodologies and practices.
• Advanced skills in writing content for interactive web applications.

• Technical mindset, with a passion to learn new skills.
• Displays advanced technical subject matter expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively deliver training content, explain technical concepts, and engage with learners.
• Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ability to actively listen to learners, understand their questions, concerns, and learning need.
• Flexibility to adapt training methods and materials to meet the needs of different learners.

Academic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Education or Adult Learning or related field.
• Relevant certifications in the technical being taught is desirable.

Required experience:

• Advanced experience in a similar role, preferably gained within a global IT organization.
• Advanced experience in design, development, implementation and assessment of learning curriculum.
• Advanced experience being a facilitator of virtual and classroom technical training.
• Advanced demonstrated experience leveraging instructional design principles and methodologies.
