Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Flexera Tooling Implementation Specialist with extensive hands-on experience in the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and management of the Flexera Software Asset Management (SAM) tool.

As a tooling expert and solution architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the Flexera platform is correctly deployed, maintained, and aligned with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Independently configure and install the Flexera SAM tool with minimal supervision.

  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of the Flexera environment.

  • Upload, manage, and maintain accurate data within the Flexera SAM platform.

  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks including backups, patches, and upgrades.

  • Administer user roles and access, aligned with organizational policies.

  • Continuously monitor system health and proactively resolve any technical issues.

  • Manage and maintain the infrastructure hosting the SAM solution, ensuring adequate resources.

  • Escalate and manage vendor support tickets, and collaborate closely with vendor teams.

  • Maintain all data feeds and system integrations connected to the Flexera SAM tool.

  • Perform scheduled and ad-hoc data uploads and updates.

  • Upgrade the Flexera platform and its modules in line with evolving customer requirements.

Required Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of experience in IT tools implementation, with a strong focus on SAM tools.

  • Proven hands-on experience in configuring and deploying both on-premise and cloud instances of Flexera SAM.

  • Deep understanding of Flexeras modules, data connectors, platform architecture, and capabilities.

  • Technical expertise in Flexera features, limitations, and implementation best practices.

  • Skilled in designing and implementing frameworks to assess and improve tool maturity.

  • Ability to create tailored implementation plans based on customer business and technical requirements.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have :

  • Flexera certifications or formal training.

  • Experience with integration of Flexera SAM with other ITSM or CMDB platforms (e. , ServiceNow).

  • Familiarity with license compliance, software metering, and audit support practices.
