Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Devotional Music Content Manager to lead the development, curation, and distribution of devotional/spiritual music content across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will combine musical expertise, content strategy, and technical know-how to build a devotional music portfolio that resonates with our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content strategy for devotional music (bhajans, chants, hymns, spiritual songs).
  • Curate, acquire, or commission devotional music aligning with themes, festivals, and audience tastes.
  • Oversee production: coordinate with composers, lyricists, vocalists, recording engineers, and editors.
  • Manage end-to-end content workflow: planning → recording → editing → publishing.
  • Optimize metadata, descriptions, keywords, credits, and licensing for digital platforms.
  • Publish and manage content on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, website, mobile app, etc.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar, aligning with calendar events, spiritual festivals, and seasonal themes.
  • Monitor analytics (views, listens, user engagement) and optimize content accordingly.
  • Engage with audience feedback, comments, collaboration requests, and community building.
  • Work with marketing, social media, and design teams to promote content.
  • Ensure legal compliance: copyright, licensing, royalty management, rights clearances.
  • Stay updated with trends in devotional / spiritual music and digital content.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (Music, Media, Communications, or relevant field) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in content management, music programming, music production, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of devotional or spiritual music traditions, genres, and cultural nuance.
  • Proficiency with audio/video editing tools (Adobe photoshop, Davinci, Premiere, etc.).
  • Experience with digital publishing platforms (YouTube, DSPs, CMS).
  • Analytical mindset: familiarity with analytics tools (YouTube Analytics, Spotify for Artists, Google Analytics).
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills; ability to craft compelling descriptions, titles, and metadata.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator.
  • Understanding of copyright, licensing, royalties, and music rights.

Preferred / Plus

  • Prior experience specifically in devotional / spiritual music space.
  • Experience in podcasting, live streaming, or mobile app content.
  • Network or relationships with devotional artists, musicians, lyricists.
  • Experience with scheduling tools, collaboration tools, version control for content.
