Job Summary

The Accounts Manager and HR Admin will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records. The role bridges finance and human resources, ensuring that both domains operate within the regulatory framework and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

  • Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledgers, and financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, donor reports, and utilization certificates.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of project expenditures.
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reimbursements, and bank reconciliations.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely submission of audit reports.
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in line with legal requirements.
  • Process payroll and ensure accurate computation and filing of statutory deductions.
  • Support in employee onboarding, exit formalities, and leave/attendance management.

Internal Controls & Policy Implementation

  • Develop and monitor internal controls for financial and develop cost cutting strategies
  • Train staff on financial compliance processes and documentation standards.
  • Any other tasks as given by the organization

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance (MBA/PGDM Inter preferred).
  • 4–7 years of experience in accounting preferably in the development/non-profit sector.
  • Working knowledge of Indian accounting standards, and NGO statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally preferred), MS Excel, and payroll systems.

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle cross-functional responsibilities.
  • Effective communication and team coordination skills.

Remuneration

15-18k based on experience
