Role Overview:
As an Account Manager in the Marketing and Commerce practice, you will serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal consulting teams. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring successful delivery of marketing and commerce transformation projects, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project delivery expertise, strong project management and cross functional skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership.
- Understand client business goals, strategies, and digital transformation needs.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Project Oversight & Delivery:
- Oversee the delivery of marketing and commerce consulting engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, technology, data) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to ensure project success.
- Strategic Account Growth:
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Work with business development teams to craft proposals and pitch new services.
- Contribute to account planning and forecasting.
- Domain Expertise:
- Stay current with trends in digital marketing, eCommerce, customer experience, and martech platforms (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce etc.).
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in account management or client services, preferably in a consulting or agency environment.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, or customer experience transformation.
- Strong understanding of marketing platforms (e.g., AEM, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with data-driven marketing and analytics.
- Exposure to industry verticals such as retail, CPG, BFSI, or healthcare.
Desired qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field
Certification or one of its iterative technologies.
