Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Near to Iyappan Koil Anna Nagar, 2nd Avenue.

Job Summary:

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, visitors, and assets. The role involves monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling the area, enforcing security policies, and responding to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure security measures are in place.
  • Verify identification and credentials of visitors, employees, and contractors.
  • Enforce entry and exit procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Perform routine patrols of the premises to detect and prevent security threats.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances.
  • Maintain logs/records/registers of daily security activities
  • Prepare detailed reports of any security breaches or incidents.
  • Assist in fire drills and emergency response procedures.
  • Provide first aid or call emergency services when required.
  • Ensure adherence to company security policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school, Degree or Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in security or military (preferred).
  • Knowledge of security protocols, surveillance equipment, and emergency procedures.
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical fitness for standing, walking, or patrolling for extended periods.
  • May include night shifts, weekends, and holidays based on security needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300, ₹350,000.00 per year
