Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Sales Engineer
to lead our business development efforts in the field of
process instrumentation
. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, strong client relationship skills, and a proven track record in driving sales growth across industrial sectors such as cement, power, steel, sugar and paper.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in process instrumentation
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base across industrial verticals
  • Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients and channel partners
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver customized solutions
  • Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for management
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field); MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales of process control instruments (e.g., flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, gas analyzers)
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and instrumentation standards
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel across regions for client engagement
