Tax Senior Nonprofit Organisations (NPOs)

Location: Delhi, India

Qualification: B.Com (EA/CPA preferred)

Experience: 35 years in U.S. tax preparation for NPOs

Shift Timing: 9 hour shift between 05:00PM to 05:00AM

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Senior to join our team, focusing on U.S. nonprofit organisations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in U.S. tax compliance, particularly in preparing or reviewing Form 990, and a deep understanding of nonprofit tax regulations, including Schedule A and Unrelated Business Income Tax (UBIT) issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and file Form 990 for nonprofit clients.
  • Handle Schedule A preparation and public support test calculations.
  • Advise clients on UBIT matters and other tax compliance issues.
  • Work with clients receiving government grants and ensure compliance with related tax requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality tax services.
  • Keep up-to-date with U.S. tax laws affecting nonprofit organizations and advise clients accordingly.

Requirements:

  • B.Com degree; EA or CPA certification preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation for nonprofit organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Form 990, Schedule A, and UBIT regulations.
  • Experience working with clients receiving government grants is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
