Job SummaryAs a U.S. Tax Associate, you will assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of clients and industries while developing deep technical tax knowledge.Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns (corporate, partnership, and individual).- Assist in tax planning and compliance projects.- Analyze and interpret tax laws, regulations, and rulings.- Support senior tax professionals in responding to tax notices and audits.- Conduct tax research using tools such as RIA, CCH, or Bloomberg BNA.- Maintain and update client files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.- Collaborate with audit and advisory teams for tax-related matters.- Ensure timely filing of all required tax documents and forms.✅ Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation a plus).- CPA or working toward CPA certification preferred.- 0–2 years of relevant tax or accounting experience (internships count).- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax code and reporting requirements.- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., GoSystem, CCH Axcess, UltraTax, or similar).- Excellent communication and analytical skills.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
