US Tax Seniors/AM/Managers

Company: Client of Miles Education

Location: Delhi

Qualification: B.Com OR EA/CPA (preferred)

Experience: 3 to 10 years of experience in US tax preparation (construction or real estate clients preferred)

Shift Timing: 9 hour shift between 05:00PM to 05:00AM

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns (1065, 1120S, 1120) for general contractors, subcontractors, and developers.
  • Perform multi-state apportionment analysis and nexus determination for construction entities operating across jurisdictions.
  • Analyse percentage-of-completion (POC) and completed-contract methods for accurate tax treatment.
  • Handle depreciation schedules and Section 179/bonus depreciation related to heavy equipment and fixed assets.
  • Assist in preparation of K-1s, tax basis calculations, and reconciliation of book-to-tax differences for construction clients.
  • Communicate with U.S. engagement teams to resolve open items and clarify construction-specific tax positions (e.g., look-back calculations).
  • Perform research on construction tax topics, including IRC section 460, section 199A, and contractor-specific tax credits or deductions.
