We are looking for an experienced Import/Export Manager to oversee and manage the entire import and export operations of our company. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with international trade regulations, optimize logistics processes, control documentation accuracy, and lead a small team effectively to minimize costs and maximize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
  • Ensure full compliance with customs, DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade), and other relevant regulations.
  • Review and verify import and export documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with customs authorities and liaise with regulatory bodies for smooth clearance processes.
  • Guide and train the team on customs and DGFT regulations and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics and reduce overall costs.
  • Lead and manage the import/export team, providing support and ensuring productivity.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports on import/export activities for management review.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in import/export operations with demonstrated team leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, DGFT rules, and international trade compliance.
  • Proven experience in managing import/export documentation and logistics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve operational issues effectively.
