Role Overview

The MEP Engineer (Project-Based) will be responsible for managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing functions for assigned projects at Tribeca, including premium residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The role demands strong technical expertise, design understanding, project execution capability, and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of all MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. MEP Systems Execution

  2. Responsible for execution and coordination of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Telecom Systems, CCTV, Security and Safety Systems for assigned projects.

  3. Provide design inputs, technical recommendations, and support to consultants and contractors during planning, design, and execution phases.

  4. Project Execution & Coordination

  5. Coordinate and liaise with Architects, MEP Consultants, Contractors, and Site Engineers for smooth and timely project execution.

  6. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of:

  7. HV & LV Panels

  8. Cables
  9. Transformers
  10. DG Sets

  11. HVAC systems including ducting, insulation, equipment, and controls

  12. Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with Tribecas design standards.

  13. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  14. Handle vendor evaluation, onboarding, performance monitoring, and closure of work.

  15. Ensure efficient coordination between all project stakeholders, including service providers and governing agencies.

  16. Approvals & Compliance

  17. Liaison with government authorities and statutory bodies to secure all technical sanctions, NOCs, and approvals required during various stages of the project.

  18. Budgeting & Cost Control

  19. Responsible for capital budgeting, cost monitoring, and ensuring adherence to budgetary parameters.

  20. Support project costing, value engineering, and contract administration.

  21. Plumbing & Utilities Oversight

  22. Ensure smooth functioning of all plumbing utilities, including water supply, drainage, firefighting systems, and related services.

Requirement-

  • 8+ years of experience in execution and coordination of MEP functions in large-scale, high-rise projects such as:
  • Premium residential developments
  • 5-star hotels
  • Shopping malls, multiplexes
  • Hospitals
  • State-of-the-art commercial buildings
  • Strong technical expertise in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, security, and automation systems.
  • Strong understanding of BIM workflows with hands-on experience in BIM-based coordination for MEP systems, including clash detection, model validation, and seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Projects, BMS systems, Project Costing, and Contract Administration.
  • Excellent coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive timely execution with a quality and safety-first approach.
