Digital Product Lifecycle, part of Digital Solutions, is accountable for digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Lifecycle Management - from management of master data to utilization of extended reality, simulation and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT. As Siemens Engineer, you will be part of a new chapter working with solutions within the Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing Suite, and be a part of the Value Chain Simulation Tools-product team. Working closely with the product team you will be accountable for developing and supporting high quality simulation solutions and thereby actively participate in the digital transformation in Vestas. The chapter is managed out of Chennai in India, but where you reside is secondary.ResponsibilitiesLead the technical development and system administration  for Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing Suite, Process Simulate, and other digital manufacturing toolsCollaborate closely with Product Owners, Product Architects, and Product Area Architect to define technical roadmaps and deliver high-impact featuresDrive development activities across Teamcenter modules, including ITK customizations, BMIDE configurations, workflows, and query/report creationManage Teamcenter administrative activities including installation, configuration, user and access control, workflow management, patching, and performance optimizationSupport and integrate simulation tools like Process Simulate, Plant Simulation, VisMockup, and NX within the Teamcenter environmentLead the implementation of new features, integrations, and system upgrades across the product area landscapeEnsure integration and interoperability between Teamcenter, ERP (e.g., SAP), MES (e.g., Apriso), and other enterprise systemsDevelop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, test plans, and support proceduresActively contribute to system upgrades, performance improvements, and issue resolutionMentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to support teamsEnsure compliance with IT security standards and best practices in Teamcenter deployment and operationsStay current with new advancements in digital manufacturing and Siemens PLM ecosystem, recommending innovative enhancementsQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field8+ years of experience working with Siemens Teamcenter, particularly in manufacturing domainsIn-depth knowledge of Teamcenter architecture and Teamcenter development including ITK, RAC, BMIDE, workflows, and SOA/REST APIsStrong experience with Teamcenter installation, server configuration, environment management, and troubleshootingSolid working knowledge of Siemens Technomatix tools, especially Process SimulateFamiliarity with Plant Simulation, VisMockup, NX, and 3D model management in a simulation contextExperience with 3D model/data conversion and management in a simulation environmentExposure to Autodesk FlexSIM is an added advantageExperience with integrating PLM with ERP/MES tools such as Windchill, SAP and AprisoFamiliarity with containerization (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes) and DevOps practices is an advantageExperience with version control systems and agile development practicesCompetenciesExperience with Agile and SCRUM is a benefitActive, pro-active and accountable team-playerStrong problem-solving skills and ability to analyse complex business requirementsExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsGreat communicative skills, fluent in written and verbal EnglishAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environmentProficiency, primarily, in configuring and customizing Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing Suite and Siemens TechnomatixMotivated, open-minded, and willing to learnKnow-how to apply design and testing methods and toolsKnow-how to apply agile practicesDiligent to deliver good quality code, documentation and manage repositoryWhat We OfferWe offer you a job with a strong product related mandate, a core team environment with a product focused mindset and great opportunities for professional growth.
