TheBrainPsych is looking for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our team.

Who are we looking for?

  • 2–3 years of experience in Ruby / Ruby on Rails, AWS / Railway, familiarity with the MERN stack
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL, building scalable APIs/services
  • Experience with background job processing, caching strategies, and API integrations
  • Comfortable working with cutting-edge AI APIs (Claude, ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E) to build innovative AI agents and features
  • Excited to build text agents, voice agents, and image generation tools that empower creators
  • Can design robust data models & optimize database performance at scale
  • Someone who values code quality, writes comprehensive tests, and constantly improves the codebase
