About the Role

As a Backend Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and scaling backend services, developing microservices, and managing real-time data pipelines using AWS Lambda, Kinesis, and DynamoDB. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performing solutions that power our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C#.NET / .NET Core
  • Build serverless components and microservices using AWS Lambda
  • Implement real-time data streaming with AWS Kinesis
  • Design optimized NoSQL data models in DynamoDB
  • Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA teams for end-to-end delivery
  • Write clean, reusable, and testable code
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
  • Monitor, debug, and ensure backend reliability and performance

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in backend development using C#.NET / .NET Core
  • Strong hands-on expertise in AWS Lambda
  • Solid experience with AWS Kinesis & DynamoDB
  • In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs and integration design
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps workflows
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization capabilities

Nice to Have

  • Experience with API Gateway, SQS, CloudWatch, Step Functions
  • Familiarity with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation (IaC)
  • Understanding of microservices & event-driven architectures
  • Exposure to logging and monitoring tools like ELK or Datadog
