Job Title: Registered Nurse (B.Sc. Nursing Only)

Job Summary: We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (B.Sc. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and upholding professional standards of nursing practice. Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and patient education. Adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines and hospital protocols.
  2. Clinical Procedures: Perform nursing procedures and interventions accurately and safely, following established standards of practice. Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments as directed by physicians.
  3. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records. Ensure documentation is complete, legible, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care conferences as needed.
  5. Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, and needs. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information, emotional support, and guidance throughout the healthcare journey.
  6. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety activities to enhance the quality of care delivery and patient outcomes. Identify areas for improvement and contribute to process enhancements.
  7. Education and Training: Stay updated on current nursing practices, standards, and regulations through continuing education, workshops, and professional development activities. Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and nursing students as needed.
  8. Infection Control: Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent healthcare-associated infections. Follow proper hand hygiene practices, use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately, and maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
  9. Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and trauma situations. Administer emergency treatments and assist with resuscitation efforts as required.
  10. Professional Conduct: Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards of nursing practice at all times. Demonstrate integrity, compassion, and respect in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) from a top institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
  2. Registered Nurse (RN) certification from the State Nursing Council preferable
  3. Minimum of 1-25 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a tertiary care facility.
  4. Demonstrated proficiency in nursing skills, clinical assessments, and patient care management.
  5. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  7. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and maintaining patient safety.
  8. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as per the hospital's staffing needs.
  9. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  10. Continued professional development and pursuit of higher education, such as specialty certifications or advanced degrees, are encouraged.
