Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort in accordance with hospital policies and standards. This position plays a vital role in the overall functioning of patient care units and collaborates with physicians, healthcare teams, and families to ensure holistic and effective care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Monitor patient vitals, administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist physicians during patient rounds, procedures, and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care, observations, and responses.
  • Ensure infection control and hygiene standards are strictly followed.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding the illness, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow code protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute.
  • Must be registered with the State Nursing Council.
  • 1 to 5 years of clinical experience (freshers may also apply).
  • Good communication, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centric approach.
  • Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and rotational duties.
