Overview: We are currently seeking a Nursing Staff member to assist in basic patient care and support scheduled procedures. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational nursing skills who are willing to work in a supportive mental health environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in securing IV lines and administering injectables under supervision.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and other essential parameters.
- Support anaesthetist and psychiatrist during scheduled procedures such as ElectroconvulsiveTherapy (ECT) and Ketamine Treatment.
- Aid in patient movement within the centre, from the waiting area to the doctor or therapist'sroom.
- Observe and provide basic support during rTMS (Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)procedures.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients by assisting in routine care andobservation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certificate or B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a hospital or clinical setting is required.
- Familiarity with IV line insertion and basic medical procedures.
- Willingness to work in a mental health care setting.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
