Role: CNC Machine Controls & Automation Engineering Specialist - Siemens & FANUC

Job Location: Chennai

Mode of work: WFH/ Hybrid

Experience: 8+ Years

Required skills:

  • Work with corporate counterparts - understand the requirement and communicate effectively.
  • Validate, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machines (e.g., FANUC, Siemens).
  • Provide expert-level support for CNC control systems, including PLC interface and MES integration.
  • Standardize and document CNC programming practices, tool paths, and machining processes..
  • Hands on experience in SIMENSE & FANUC PLC LADDER Program is desirable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new machine commissioning, control upgrades, and integration with robotics/PLCs.
  • Perform troubleshooting of CNC-related control issues, cycle time improvements, and error diagnostics.
  • Maintain CNC program repository and revision control process.
  • Work closely with IT/IOT teams on machine data acquisition and real-time monitoring solutions.
  • Experience in automotive environment - Develop & implement controls solutions for Power train Shop desirable.
  • New project/program implementation/execution - Statement of Requirements preparation, controls validation, equipment build/run-off and buyoff
  • Hands-on experience with FANUC 30i/31i/32i, Siemens 840D/828D.
