Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Staff Engineer
to join our innovative and fast-paced team at Celonis Garage. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
Software Engineering, Integration, Data, and AI
. This role involves designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that drive the future of process intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of innovative solutions and prototypes that enhance the Celonis platform and co-innovation with customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer co-innovations and breakthrough solutions.
- Solutioning, prototyping, and developing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) while quickly iterating based on feedback.
- Explore and integrate emerging technologies to push the boundaries of process intelligence.
- Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in architectural principles and practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify market gaps, commercial opportunities, and translate them into technical solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solution Architect, Software Architect, or a similar role.
- Strong background in Software Engineering, Integration, Data, and AI.
- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure architectures.
- Proficiency in one or more - Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Spring Boot for backend development.
- Experience with React / Angular for frontend development.
- Hands-on experience in AI – particularly Generative AI, RAGs, and Agents.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) in a cloud-agnostic environment.
- Experience in developing event-driven / streaming applications using Kafka / spark / Flink
- Proficiency in SQL and an understanding of other database technologies such as NoSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Databricks for data engineering and analytics workloads.
- Expertise in containerization technologies and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Maven for deployment and distribution automation.
- Experience working with distributed caching technologies such as Hazelcast and Redis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Process Intelligence or related domains.
- Familiarity with the Celonis platform and its capabilities.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or architectural frameworks.
