We're Hiring: Backend Engineer (AWS | Distributed Systems | Data Infrastructure)

We're looking for a
Backend Engineer
to design and build
high-performance, distributed systems
that power large-scale data analysis and real-time security intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, prioritize, and build
    backend infrastructure and services supporting end-to-end product experiences.
  • Develop and maintain
    multi-layer distributed systems
    for real-time analysis and alerting at
    petabyte scale
    .
  • Define and implement
    service architecture and RESTful APIs
    .
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build a
    world-class DevSecOps lifecycle
    from design to deployment.
  • Work with
    AWS (primary)
    and potentially
    multi-cloud environments
    (Azure, GCP).
  • Participate in architectural tradeoff discussions and advocate for best engineering practices.


What You'll Bring

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science
    or equivalent experience.
  • 3–6 years
    of backend development experience in
    SaaS or cybersecurity environments
    (Access, Identity, or Governance is a plus).
  • Proficiency in
    Golang, Java, .NET, or JavaScript
    — with a deep understanding of ecosystem pros and tradeoffs.
  • Expertise in
    RESTful API design
    , distributed systems, and
    noSQL databases
    .
  • Experience deploying on
    AWS (preferred)
    and familiarity with
    CI/CD, containers, and Terraform
    .
  • Proven record of
    shipping and maintaining large-scale SaaS products
    .
  • Strong grasp of
    performance, scalability, HA/DR, security, and data governance
    .
  • Knowledge of
    secure coding and DevSecOps principles
    .
