Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Backend Java Developer located in Gurgaon. The Backend Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable server-side applications and APIs. Responsibilities include building efficient backend systems, optimizing database structures, ensuring security and performance, troubleshooting bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. The developer will be engaged in requirement analysis, code reviews, and deploying production-ready applications.

Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills in Core Java, Spring Framework (including Spring Boot), and Hibernate
  • Experience with database management, including SQL, NoSQL, and database optimization techniques
  • Knowledge of API development, RESTful services, and microservices architecture
  • Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps practices
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning for backend systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate in team environments
  • Experience with distributed systems or working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
