Role Description

This is a contract position for a Java Backend Developer located on-site at our Gurugram office. The Java Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and applications. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code; troubleshooting and debugging; collaborating with cross-functional teams; optimizing systems for performance and scalability; and ensuring high system reliability. The developer will also contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Core Java, Java 8+, and object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
  • Knowledge of database technologies like SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control tools like Git
  • Problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
