Overview:

Titan, a leading jewellery brand, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Executive-Category to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. As a Merchandising Executive-Category, you will be responsible for managing the merchandising activities for our Jewellery-SMR category under the Merchandising-Tanishq department. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies for the Jewellery-SMR category in line with the overall business objectives

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and sales to develop new product lines and improve existing ones

  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality control

  • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or discontinuation of products

  • Analyze sales data and make pricing recommendations to maximize profitability

  • Plan and execute promotional activities to drive sales and increase brand awareness

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing

  • Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for product innovation and improvement

  • Train and mentor junior merchandising team members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the jewellery industry

  • Strong understanding of market trends and customer preferences

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

  • Willingness to travel for market visits and supplier meetings

Additional Parameters:

  • Experience in managing the Jewellery-SMR category is preferred

  • Knowledge of the Tanishq brand and its products is a plus

  • Experience in e-commerce merchandising is an added advantage
