We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 7 to 9 years of expertise in PostgreSQL Administration. The role involves managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases in a hybrid work model with night shifts. The candidate should be a native English speaker and proficient in reading writing and speaking. This position does not require travel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Implement and oversee database security measures to protect sensitive information.
  • Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related needs and projects.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on PostgreSQL-related matters.
  • Conduct regular database audits to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Optimize database configurations to enhance system performance and scalability.
  • Document database processes and procedures for future reference and training.
  • Stay updated with the latest PostgreSQL developments and integrate new features as appropriate.
  • Participate in capacity planning and database scaling initiatives to support business growth.
  • Ensure seamless integration of PostgreSQL databases with other systems and applications.
