Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Mohali district for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, developing and delivering curriculum, guiding student projects, conducting research, publishing papers, and participating in academic and administrative activities of the department. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to the university's outreach and community service efforts.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Master's in Computer Science or Computer Applications
  • Expertise in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Programming
  • Experience in Curriculum Development
  • Strong research background with a track record of published papers
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students
  • Experience in higher education teaching is a plus
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse academic environment
