Position Summary
:

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is seeking a highly qualified and experienced academician for the position of Professor. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and academic leadership. The candidate will be expected to contribute to curriculum development, guide doctoral and postgraduate students, and participate in departmental administration and outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and related disciplines.

Supervise Ph.D. and Master's research scholars.

Conduct high-impact research and publish in reputed journals and conferences.

Lead or collaborate on externally funded research projects.

Develop and revise curriculum in line with current trends in CSE.

Mentor junior faculty and contribute to faculty development.

Participate in departmental and institutional activities such as accreditation, committee work, and outreach.

Foster industry-academic collaborations and innovation-driven learning.

Promote a culture of academic excellence and integrity.

Qualifications and Experience
:

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Minimum of 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, with at least 4 years at the level of Associate Professor.

Proven track record of scholarly publications, funded projects, and guidance of Ph.D. students.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

Fellowships or awards from reputed academic or professional bodies.

Experience with curriculum design and academic policy-making.

Participation in national/international academic collaborations.

Patents, technology transfers, or start-up initiatives.

Remuneration:

As per [University/UGC/AICTE] norms. Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
