Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor – Computer Science & Engineering

Location:

Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab, India

Qualifications (Mandatory):

  • B.Tech in Computer Science or relevant discipline from a recognized university
  • M.Tech in Computer Science or related specialization
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology (awarded or submitted as per UGC norms)
  • Strong academic and research credentials as per UGC/AICTE norms

Experience:

  • Assistant Professor: 0–5 years (Fresh Ph.D. holders can apply)
  • Associate Professor: Minimum 5–8 years of teaching/research/industry experience including at least 2 years post-Ph.D.
  • Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience including at least 5 years at the Associate Professor level, with proven research and publication record

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Computer Science & Engineering
  • Guide students in academic projects, dissertations, and research
  • Publish research papers in reputed national and international journals
  • Prepare research proposals and contribute to funded research activities
  • Design and update curriculum in line with industry trends and academic standards
  • Participate in academic and administrative committees
  • Mentor students and support their academic and professional growth
