Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and design, with expertise in WordPress and a variety of programming languages and frameworks. This role requires a creative individual who can translate client needs into functional and visually appealing websites while ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

Duties

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to meet client specifications.
  • Collaborate with designers to create wireframes and user flows for seamless web experiences.
  • Implement responsive web design principles to ensure websites function well on various devices.
  • Utilize front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SCSS for website development.
  • Manage databases using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server to support website functionality.
  • Experience in Custom Plugin development.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance website capabilities.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code delivery.
  • Optimize websites for SEO to improve visibility on search engines.
  • Utilize version control systems like GitHub or SVN for efficient code management.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and collaborate using tools such as Trello and Jira.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in WordPress development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Custom Plugin Development
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular, or React.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies including PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or ASP.NET.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps principles for streamlined deployment processes.
  • Understanding of system architecture and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with data visualization tools and UX/UI design principles.
  • Strong skills in Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, or similar tools for application deployment.
  • Ability to work with various databases including MongoDB, SQLite, or SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SOAP services, and AJAX techniques.
