Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins, optimizing website performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
  • Customize themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
  • Work with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.
  • Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO.
  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to implement UI/UX enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, issues, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and tools as needed.
  • Maintain site security and manage regular updates/backups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–6 years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Deep understanding of WordPress core, hooks, and APIs.
  • Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git).
  • Good understanding of UI/UX principles.
  • Experience with WooCommerce (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with WP-CLI and other WordPress dev tools.
  • Familiarity with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Figma).
