Senior Data Management Specialist

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Management Specialist with a strong background in Master Data Management (MDM), cloud data platforms, and enterprise data integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with tools like Informatica Customer 360, AWS Glue, and Apache Kafka, along with deep knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and secure access controls. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data solutions to support critical business functions across domains.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the implementation and optimization of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions such as Informatica MDM Customer 360, including configuration of match/merge/survivorship rules. Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data governance, data quality, and metadata standards. Integrate batch and streaming data sources using ETL tools (Informatica CDI/CAI) and message brokers like Apache Kafka.
Develop and maintain APIs and microservices using Java, Scala, or Python to support real-time and batch data processing. Design, orchestrate, and monitor data pipelines using AWS Glue, Glue Workflows, and Step Functions. Manage metadata and data discovery using AWS Glue Data Catalog and Glue Crawlers.
Ensure secure data access by implementing IAM policies, Lake Formation permissions, and RBAC across systems. Implement infrastructure-as-code for data infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation or Terraform. Enable consistent and governed reference data management through tools like Informatica Reference 360.
Maintain high data quality and integrity across cloud and on-prem environments, supporting regulatory compliance and audit readiness. Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in data management, MDM, and cloud data engineering roles. Proven expertise in MDM platforms such as Informatica Customer 360, including understanding of match/merge/survivorship.
Strong development experience with Java, Scala, or Python, especially for API and integration tasks. Strong SQL development skills and familiarity with cloud-native databases (e.g., Redshift, RDS, Snowflake). Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica CDI and CAI.Working knowledge of metadata management, cataloging, and automated crawling via AWS Glue Data Catalog and S3 Inventory.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Glue, S3, Lake Formation, CloudWatch, and EventBridge. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Familiarity with Reference 360 and implementing role-based access controls for data users and services.
