Role & responsibilities

  1. Internal Control Evaluation:

  2. Conduct detailed audits of financial operations, internal controls, and business processes to identify areas for improvement.

  3. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.

  4. Develop and execute audit plans to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of operations across departments.

  5. Risk Assessment & Management:

  6. Identify potential financial, operational, and compliance risks within the organization.

  7. Provide recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance internal control systems.

  8. Assess risk management practices in the Facility Management and other service departments.

  9. Audit Planning & Execution:

  10. Plan and execute audit procedures in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  11. Review financial statements, accounts, and transactions to verify accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  12. Evaluate business processes and recommend operational improvements to management.

  13. Reporting & Documentation:

  14. Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risk areas, and suggestions for corrective actions.

  15. Communicate audit results and assist in the development of action plans to address issues identified.

  16. Maintain a record of audit documentation and work papers for reference and review.

  17. Compliance Monitoring:

  18. Ensure that internal policies and procedures align with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.

  19. Monitor the company's adherence to local and national regulations, especially in facility management and staffing services.

  20. Track compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards within the organization.

  21. Collaboration with Management:

  22. Work closely with department heads and senior management to provide insights into operational effectiveness and financial controls.

  23. Provide advisory support to management regarding regulatory and audit-related matters.

  24. Assist in the development of policies to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency.

  25. Special Projects:

  26. Participate in special audits, reviews, or projects as directed by senior management.

  27. Evaluate internal audits related to specific projects, including Facility Management contracts, vendor management, and client services.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or CA (Chartered Accountant) preferred.
