Job Summary
We are looking for a
Senior Cloud Platform Engineer
to lead the design, implementation, and management of our
hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure
. This role is critical in ensuring the
scalability, security, and performance
of Zywave's cloud-native and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost optimization, and compliance.
  • Implement and manage cloud networking, IAM, and resource provisioning.
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, Azure VMs, Azure Functions, Azure Networking).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Expertise with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS, EKS).
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
