Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Tool Designer
to join our core team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering
form blocks, jigs, fixtures, and composite layup tools
from concept to completion, with a strong focus on machining and manufacturing feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop aerospace tooling (form blocks, jigs, fixtures, layup tools).
  • Apply
    machining knowledge
    (CNC, VMC, turning, milling, fabrication) to ensure manufacturability.
  • Perform
    tool costing and feasibility studies
    .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality tooling on time.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with
    aerospace/defence quality standards
    .

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of experience
    in aerospace/defence tooling design.
  • Proficiency in
    CAD software
    (CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of
    machining and manufacturing processes
    .
  • Experience in
    composite tooling and layup tools
    preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and project ownership mindset.

Compensation

Salary: ₹6.0 – 6.5 LPA (based on experience)
