Position Responsibilities

  • Import, clean, and process 3D laser scan point cloud data.
  • Convert processed scan data into accurate parametric 3D CAD models.
  • Generate detailed and assembly-level 2D engineering drawings per relevant standards (ASME Y14.5 / ISO).
  • Create precise surface and solid models for complex geometries.
  • Ensure manufacturability, maintain design intent, and apply GD&T.
  • Set up, run, and validate static, dynamic, thermal, and fatigue FEA simulations.
  • Conduct CFD simulations for aerodynamic, thermal, or fluid-structure interaction problems. (optional exposure preferred)
  • Post-process simulation results and generate technical reports with recommendations.
  • Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and change logs.
  • Present analysis outcomes to stakeholders.

  • HyperWorks / OptiStruct / Radioss
  • Abaqus
  • NASTRAN / PATRAN

CFD Tools (Preferred):

  • ANSYS Fluent / CFX
  • STAR-CCM+
  • OpenFOAM

Other Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of engineering materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerancing.
  • Ability to work with large data sets from scanning and simulation.
  • Knowledge of PLM systems (Teamcenter, ENOVIA, Windchill).

Qualifications (Education / Skills)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 5–7 years of relevant industry experience in CAD, reverse engineering, and simulation.
  • Demonstrated experience with complete workflow from laser scan to manufacturing-ready drawings.(preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Optional Skills

  • Exposure to both metallic and composite material design.
  • Experience in design for aerospace/automotive regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.
