Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer located in Pune. The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect company data and systems. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring networks for security breaches, investigating incidents, developing security standards and best practices, and ensuring compliance with security policies. The role also involves analyzing security risks and vulnerabilities, designing and executing security improvements, and providing guidance to the IT team on security-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience with network security and intrusion detection systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and best practices
  • Proficiency in conducting security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
  • Strong understanding of encryption, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
