Global Program Manager - Imaging DevOps
Job Description SummaryAs a member of the Global Imaging DevOps team at GE HealthCare, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting-edge DevOps and SecOps solutions. You will collaborate with technical and program teams across various modalities to foster synergies and integrate common platform deliverables into upcoming Imaging product releases, enhancing efficiency. Additionally, you will ensure that outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and meet the desired quality standards. Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

Collaborate with business and functional partners, as well as technology leadership across SBU and Platform teams, to define functionality and specify requirements.

Outline a multi-generational project strategy as a Release Train Engineer at a solution level, following the Scaled Agile Framework to achieve the expected outcomes.

Organize project teams across different regions, comprising cross-functional technical experts, based on budget, scope, and timeline.
-
Coordinate the execution and adoption of common platform releases across multiple modality programs, driving a shared approach and tracking outcomes.
-
Work with technical teams, often including members from separate organizations (e.g., Infrastructure, IT, Software Build Tools), to coordinate day-to-day execution according to the outlined plan.

Support the execution team by resolving roadblocks and interdependencies, and partner with external technical and functional teams to ensure their tasks are completed as required.

Manage project risks, scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the project lifecycle.

Communicate with stakeholders and report progress at various organizational levels, including leadership and executives.

Cooperate with and manage external vendors, as needed.
-
Ensure adherence to pre-defined project management processes and practices, driving simplification and improvement as necessary.

Mentor junior team members to foster a healthy execution practice within the team.
Education Qualification:
-
Bachelor 's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Required Skills:
-
18+ years of work experience with hands-on exposure to the software development lifecycle.
-
Minimum 4 years of program management experience handling multiple teams within or across organizations.
-
Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Ant, Bamboo, Jenkins.
-
Experience in SecOps.
Desired Characteristics:

Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change.

Strong understanding of various project and portfolio management methodologies, with a track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations.

Leadership skills with the ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to achieve shared goals.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of an organization.

Self-starter who requires minimal direction to accomplish goals.

Strong interest in current and emerging technologies, demonstrated through training, job experience, and/or industry activities.

Team player who collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources.

Experience working globally with others.

Change-oriented, actively generating process improvements, championing and driving change initiatives, confronting difficult circumstances creatively, balancing multiple and competing priorities, and executing accordingly.

Certifications such as PMP, SAFe, ScrumMaster, or related Project Management certifications.
