Location / Area: Eastern Zone – West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Assam & North-East States (District-wise roles in West Bengal)

Job Profile:

The Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned territory, ensuring expansion of market reach, and maintaining a proper Cost-to-Sales (C to S) ratio from the beginning. This role involves distributor management, retail development, and execution of sales strategies to achieve company targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Growth & Target Achievement

  2. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  3. Maintain a healthy C to S ratio.

  4. Plan and execute strategies to increase product penetration.

  5. Market Expansion & Territory Development

  6. Identify new markets, onboard distributors, and expand retail coverage.

  7. Ensure complete route coverage in the assigned territory.

  8. Distributor & Channel Management

  9. Handle distributors and ensure their sales performance and financial discipline.

  10. Monitor stock levels, collections, returns, and claims.

  11. Retailer Development & Market Execution

  12. Conduct regular market visits for visibility, display, and merchandising.

  13. Build strong relationships with retailers and wholesalers.

  14. Implement promotional and trade schemes effectively.

  15. Reporting & Documentation

  16. Submit daily sales reports, competitor activity reports, and market insights.

  17. Maintain accurate sales, collection, and territory performance data.

  18. Collections & Payment Handling

  19. Ensure timely collection of payments.

  20. Maintain credit discipline and reduce outstanding dues.

  21. Team Coordination & Compliance

  22. Coordinate with internal departments for smooth operations.

  23. Follow company reporting and compliance norms strictly.

  24. Customer Relationship Management

  25. Address customer queries and complaints promptly.

  26. Build strong relationships with key partners in the market.
